Conservation Services |
 Weatherization – (203) 575-4215
Provides heat loss analysis audits; installation of energy efficient wall and attic insulation materials, storm windows, oil burner efficiency testing and modifications; and other energy conservation services for the residents of low income households. This program reduces dependency upon state and federal home heating assistance programs. Program services are provided in the New Opportunities Inc. service area, Naugatuck Valley and Greater Danbury communities.
Weatherization Residential and Partnership (WRAP) (203) 575-4215
WRAP is an expanded low-income weatherization program to be implemented through a partnership between New Opportunities Inc. and Northeast Utilities (NU) / Connecticut Light and Power (CL&P). This program not only provides weatherization services to our current list of applicants, but also expands services to those clients who are between 150 - 200% of the federal poverty guidelines (SAFA clients not previously eligible for weatherization). The program provides a variety of services ranging from a $150.00 material wrap up/seal up to a $500.00 material full weatherization application.
