Child Care

The Early Childhood Division (ECD) provides quality early learning services to over 500 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and their families each year in 3 NAEYC Accredited sites in Waterbury. The Division operates a variety of programs including Head Start, Early Head Start, School Readiness, State Child Day Care and Infant/Toddler Care

This full-day/full-year program provides comprehensive early childhood/family centered services that include health, social, and educational activities. Fees are sliding-scale and Care 4 Kids is accepted. Its full time staff includes professionals in the fields of health, nutrition, mental health, social services, and education.
