NOI is Providing Summer Help at No Cost to your Business

New Opportunities Inc. (NOI) is looking to place 40 youth in Waterbury businesses for the 2010 Summer Youth Employment Program. To do so, the agency will need the community's assistance in providing suitable work-stations or sites for the youth to provide them with a meaningful work experience.
New Opportunities' will be responsible for paying the youth and distributing paychecks. The agency's Summer Youth Employment Supervisor will handle any on-site issues including injuries, job performance and attendance.
Your company can request as many youth as needed. As a workstation, there is no-cost or liability to your company. You will be responsible for on-site supervision, confirmation of weekly timesheets, and evaluating youth performance at end of program.
Possible jobs could include filing, answering telephones, office assistance, light office cleaning, classroom assistance, etc.
New Opportunities' is the Community Action Agency serving Waterbury, Meriden, Torrington and the surrounding communities. NOI is a private, nonprofit corporation that has been providing social services to the area since 1964.
